California is a premier travel destination and no one wants to miss a trip to San Francisco. Sausalito makes a perfect day trip as it is the first town north of the Golden Gate Bridge. A world class ferryboat ride across San Francisco Bay will get you there in about 40 minutes. On the way you will get a close up view of some of California's great icons like the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz and Angel Island.
HOW DO WE GET TO SAUSALITO?
BY FERRYBOAT FROM SAN FRANCISCO
When you arrive in Sausalito by ferryboat, you will be in the middle of our historic downtown distict.
BY CAR OR BIKE FROM SAN FRANCISCO
Take the first exist after the Golden Gate Bridge - Alexander Ave. Follow the winding road down the hill to Bridgeway and downtown Sausalito.
BY CAR FROM THE SOUTHBOUND 101 FRWY
Take the Marin City / Sausalito Exit, this leads you directly onto Bridgeway on the Northern end of Sausalito.
WHAT TIME ARE THE TOURS AND TREASURE HUNTS?
We recommend scheduling your walking tour just after lunch. 12:30pm is ideal on Saturday or Sunday. Treasure Hunts are fine anytime after 9am and before sunset.

WHAT SHOULD WE BRING ON THE WALKING TOUR?
Dress for the weather, wear a good pair of walking shoes. We don't cancel for rain, only storms, so bring rain gear if needed. Best to have had something to eat before the tour or treasure hunt begins and don't forget your camera!
